Easter eggs Check, organized by North Terrace Church of Christ, had been in the planning stages since December. More than 1,000 teenagers completed the Research Park for 12,000 eggs filled with prizes. Fifty Eggs estimated prices ranging from bicycles to a gas grill. A free dinner at Bob Evans Restaurant was 1000 eggs. In the bargain to thousands of eggs, 30,000 pieces of candy have been dispersed on the lees.
It was the first time the church has hosted a public egg hunt.
"We have always been the one for our church and this year we would ruminate for the community," Danny Harp, associate minister and organizer of the event, said. "At North Terrace, we celebrate Easter this weekend . This (egg Explorer) is about Christ and his resurrection, and we want people to see Christ through this egg hunt. "
The children, many baskets overflowing, both open their eggs to see if they had won a prize.
"He (Justin Belcher, 9) has three tickets for the meal we can all have dinner at Bob Evans," Alicia Belcher, Justin's mother said. "It was great to this church to do.I know it took a lot of work, but I've never seen an egg hunt of this size, at least not here.
